This 2006 release shows a band who have come a long way in a very short time. The now fully revived Big Hand line up took to a much more modern studio in Glasgow and bought in producer Jonny Crawshaw. This EP was a final wave to Scotland before the band moved down to London to work on their studio debut with Air Studios own Chris Nuttall. It also showcased three new songs written by the current line up. Mixing duties were carried out by London based Will Worsley who had worked with the likes of Cat Stevens and Craig David giving this EP a sparkle that the other two had lacked.

As the Wrong & Right EP is a salute to the old Big Hand this second part of the trilogy showed exactly how far a band that many thought had split up only 6 months ago had come. Produced in the same lo-fi surroundings of Ruff-Hand studios but with a whole bunch more zest and a massive jump in the quality of song writing this EP started to get the band noticed and received both radio airplay and a spot on an ITV drama. Every one of the songs on this EP are still the focal points of any Big Hand live set and only one failed to make it onto

The first of the middle meadows trilogy came about via the need to give fans new music (the last EP had been released over 2 years prior). With 12 tracks of an album in different stages of recording the answer was simple to take the 5 that were most ready and release an EP. This rough and ready self produced EP is a final salute to the old Big Hand and although it contains a version of Magnet it also features two songs seldom heard in Big Hand sets these days. A real collectors item to put it mildly.
